With Results Day just around the corner, we understand that this can be a very stressful time. However, we want to reassure you that this doesn’t have to be the case and whether everything works out as planned or not, there’s always another option.

Whatever your situation, Clearing could help you start your exciting journey to university at Roehampton! So, here are some of our top tips when it comes to Clearing.

Prepare ahead of time

It’s always a great idea to do some research ahead of time into different Universities and courses. Results Day can be daunting but if you don’t happen to get the grades you were hoping for, it’s always reassuring to know that you have already done your research into what other options for University are available.

Ahead of the day, it’s also a good idea to have all of your information ready for the phone call. This includes:

• Your UCAS ID number if you have one (don’t worry, we can help you even if you are not already in the UCAS system).
• A list of your qualifications (including GCSEs) and the grades you achieved in each.
• The title of the course you are interested in.

Get advice from your support network

Don’t forget that your friends and family are always there to help you and offer advice. If you’re unsure about how you’re feeling about something, talking it through with someone can help make your thoughts a little clearer and guide you through the next steps. Don’t rush

If you’re still unsure on what exactly it is you’re looking for in a course and University, don’t feel the need to rush into any decisions or phone calls. Instead, we have a call back form where you can choose when you would like us to give you a call back. This is a great option for if you feel like you need to do that little bit of extra research before making some calls!
