So, you want to write a blog?

The University of Roehampton blog is open to all students, staff and alumni wishing to share their wisdom with the wider Roehampton community.

General Guidelines

Keep it snappy. Generally we’ll be looking for blogs you can read in the time it takes for the 265 to get from the main campus to Barnes Station. Around 400-800 words, depending on traffic.

Think prospective. When writing, assume your audience is made up predominately of students that have not yet enrolled at the University.

Be authentic. If you’re writing for the blog or making a video, we want your personality to shine through. Use the first person singular, focus on the positive aspects of the subject you’re writing about and have fun with it.
If you’d still like to be involved then hit the contact us button at the top.

The University of Roehampton changes lives by helping our students to develop the confidence, knowledge and values they need for a successful and fulfilling life. We produce world-class research that helps us understand the world and change it for the better.
