Politics students’ trip to the Palace of Westminster

Our Politics and International Relations students had the opportunity to visit the Palace of Westminster, meeting with the Shadow Middle East Minster, Mr Bambos Charalambous, MP and his Senior Parliamentary Researcher, Katherine Chiba.

The shadow minister accompanied our students throughout the visit and answered their insightful questions on various issues. The group started their tour in Westminster Hall and attended a debate about the impact of Brexit in the UK in the House of Lords, followed by visiting the main chamber in the House of Commons.

The University of Roehampton changes lives by helping our students to develop the confidence, knowledge and values they need for a successful and fulfilling life. We produce world-class research that helps us understand the world and change it for the better.
