Nadia Mashouf, LLB Law graduate
I graduated from the University of Roehampton with a First Class Honours LLB (Hons) Law.
When I started university, I knew I wanted to make the most of my time at Roehampton’s Law School, not only to deepen my understanding of law but also to support others on their journey.

Roehampton has given me far more than a degree. It has shaped me into someone more resilient, confident, and passionate than ever before. Through the leadership opportunities I was honoured to be part of, I found my voice, not just as a law student, but as someone determined to stand up for what’s right. I was truly honoured to receive the Roehampton Futures – Student Leader of the Year Award.

As this chapter comes to an end, here are some of the moments that made my journey so special:
- Awarded an Academic Excellence Scholarship which is available to students who perform strongly in their A-Levels
- Achieved the highest cohort grades in Law of Contract 2 and European Union Law
- My efforts as Law School representative resulted in me winning the Changemaking Award from the Roehampton Students’ Union for my outstanding contribution to positive change
- Elected as Education & Mooting Officer of the Roehampton University Law Society, where we organised a wonderful trip to the UK Supreme Court
- Promoted to Senior Student Ambassador and won the Confidence is Key Award
- As College Community Leader, I organised an open mic night and undertook Student Leadership Training
- Volunteered as a Student Mentor and LLB Law Programme Representative
- Founded and became President of the Roehampton Persian Society.

I leave Roehampton with more than just academic achievement, I leave with lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a deepened passion for justice and advocacy.
To future Roehampton students: get involved in everything you can, make the most of every opportunity, and you won’t regret it!
