Nadia Mashouf, LLB Law graduateÂ
I graduated from the University of Roehampton with a First Class Honours LLB (Hons) Law.Â
When I started university, I knew I wanted to make the most of my time at Roehampton’s Law School, not only to deepen my understanding of law but also to support others on their journey. Â

Roehampton has given me far more than a degree. It has shaped me into someone more resilient, confident, and passionate than ever before. Through the leadership opportunities I was honoured to be part of, I found my voice, not just as a law student, but as someone determined to stand up for what’s right. I was truly honoured to receive the Roehampton Futures – Student Leader of the Year Award.Â

As this chapter comes to an end, here are some of the moments that made my journey so special:Â
- Awarded an Academic Excellence Scholarship which is available to students who perform strongly in their A-LevelsÂ
- Achieved the highest cohort grades in Law of Contract 2 and European Union LawÂ
- My efforts as Law School representative resulted in me winning the Changemaking Award from the Roehampton Students’ Union for my outstanding contribution to positive changeÂ
- Elected as Education & Mooting Officer of the Roehampton University Law Society, where we organised a wonderful trip to the UK Supreme CourtÂ
- Promoted to Senior Student Ambassador and won the Confidence is Key AwardÂ
- As College Community Leader, I organised an open mic night and undertook Student Leadership TrainingÂ
- Volunteered as a Student Mentor and LLB Law Programme RepresentativeÂ
- Founded and became President of the Roehampton Persian Society.Â

I leave Roehampton with more than just academic achievement, I leave with lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a deepened passion for justice and advocacy.Â
To future Roehampton students: get involved in everything you can, make the most of every opportunity, and you won’t regret it!Â
