University of Roehampton graduate Frankie Cummings has been named Aimhigher London’s Ambassador of the Year, recognising her outstanding work supporting and inspiring young people to explore higher education.

During her time at Roehampton, Frankie supported a range of outreach activities, including school visits, campus events, careers webinars and residential programmes. Through these opportunities, she built confidence in public speaking, developed her communication skills and gained experience working with a wide range of audiences.
What makes her achievement even more special is that Frankie was once an Aimhigher London participant herself. Having benefited from outreach programmes as a young person, she has now come full circle by sharing her own experiences and encouraging future students to consider university.
The Aimhigher London panel praised Frankie for her commitment to supporting events, returning to her former school to inspire students and consistently acting as a positive role model. They described her as an exceptional ambassador who adds value to every activity she supports.
Reflecting on the award, Frankie said: “Coming from being a student supported by Aimhigher London to now returning the favour is incredibly rewarding. It feels like a full-circle moment, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to inspire future students through my own journey.”
