CareerFest 2022 | What to expect and how to get involved 

CareerFest is the Careers and Placements annual festival dedicated to employability.   CareerFest will run from Monday 31 October to Friday 4 November. Prepare for your future with our dedicated Careers and Work Experience events, power hours, webinars, appointments, mock interviews, Live Chat and more. Sessions will be available each day for the entire week virtually and on campus.

Book an appointment via CareerLink with a Careers Advisor anytime between 11am-4pm, Monday – Friday.

Monday 31 October

10.30am–12.30pm: Roehampton Study Abroad Drop-In Session

For students interested in working or studying abroad, come along to The Hub and speak to the Study Abroad Team. You can find how to partake in a semester abroad as part of your degree and gain useful information to start the applying process.

11am–12pm: Career Power Hour: How to find part time and seasonal work

Starting your year but worried about the costs? Come to this webinar and find out how to land a part-time job while studying your degree.

12.30–1.30pm: Career Power Hour: Improve Your CV & Cover Letters

Get advice on updating, customising and adding that something extra to your applications

Tuesday 1 November

9am–2pm: Careers for Bilinguals Employability Conference 2022

Can you speak another language? Come along to the Careers for Bilinguals Employability Conference.

Employer’s talks, workshops and panel discussions relating to international languages careers. All Roehampton home, international students and graduates with an interest in languages welcome.

Our Spotlight events are a great way to find out more about PwC and the programmes we offer. During our ‘Spotlight on: Sustainability at PwC’ event, you’ll be able to find out what a career in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) or Sustainability and Climate Change (S&CC) means at PwC and if you feel it’s a good fit for you.

Are you interested in the Business and Law sectors? If don’t miss the opportunity to network with employers from the sector and hear from Roehampton Alumni. Partake in a networking fair, student, employer and professional body panels.
